Group Consultation for BIPOC Clinicians

Exclusively for BIPOC identified EMDRIA trained clinicians, this group intentionally addresses racial “micro”-aggressions, systemic racism, and racial trauma as they impact client progress and clinician experience. This is a supportive space for clinicians who are seeking racially fluent peer consultation.

Spanish Focused Consultation Group

This group is best for clinicians fluent in Spanish who want to refresh their clinical language use by reading Francine Shapiro’s seminal book Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy: Basic Principals, Protocols, and Procedures in Spanish- EMDR: Principios básicos, protologos & procedimientos. Participants are welcomed to bring case consultation questions and ask about problems of practice.If you are a therapist whose formal education, work experiences, and consultation has occurred in English, this group will resonate for you.

This consultation group is led by Taína Amaro, LCSW, PMH-C, EMDR Certified Therapist and Approved Consultant, and Angélica Figueroa, LCSW, PMH-C, EMDRIA Certified Therapist and Approved Consultant.

These Zoom consultations count toward your first 10 hours of consultation if you have received your foundational training through the Institute for Creative Mindfulness or The Touchstone Institute. If you are working towards EMDR Certification they count towards your certification hours.

Monthly on Fridays (Starting September 2025): 12-2p EST/9-11 PST
